I haven’t had a lot of time to play games for the last couple of weeks due to a combination of family and migraine headaches. This weekend I am going camping with the family. It’s a good thing, except for the part where I don’t have anything to write about for the blog.
I decided to check out Caffeine, a new streaming platform. They have over 250 games set up for streaming now, but those games don’t include any of the MMORPGs I play. I did send them a message requesting Black Desert Online, Bless Online, Revelation Online, Riders of Icarus, and (not an MMO) No Man’s Sky, but it looks like I will be sticking with Twitch for now. I can’t say that I was all that impressed with the way the Caffeine site seems to be put together, but it is new, so we’ll see what happens with it.
If my eldest son and I can get our schedules together, we will be playing some games together with both of us streaming. He’ll probably be playing music on his stream, and I will probably have our voice chat, which will undoubtedly contain a lot of household noise, since he’s got three kids in his house and I have two in mine.
In other news you’ve already heard, the screenshots for Amazon’s New World look gorgeous. It won’t look that good on my computer. I just hope that I can play it at all. Maybe I will buy a better computer between now and release.
